AI mental health assistant

A companion that listens in the language you think in

Most people don't need a clinician at 2am. They need somewhere to put the thought that won't leave. The Saantvana companion is that place — a private, patient presence that helps you name what you're feeling, breathe through it, and notice what keeps coming back.

It speaks ten Indian languages, remembers what matters to you, and knows exactly when to stop being helpful on its own and connect you to a verified human professional.

  • Private to your account
  • 10 Indian languages
  • Available any hour

What it actually does

Support between sessions, not instead of them.

Reflective conversation

Talk or type. The companion reflects back what it hears, asks the next useful question, and helps you separate the feeling from the story around it.

Grounding in the moment

Guided breathing, body-based grounding and short practices you can use during a panic spike, before a difficult conversation, or at 3am.

Gentle check-ins

It notices patterns across your mood logs and journal, and follows up on the thing you mentioned last week instead of starting over.

A clear handoff to humans

When a pattern looks clinical, it suggests a validated assessment or a verified expert who speaks your language — it does not try to treat you.

How a conversation goes

  1. 1

    You start anywhere

One sentence is enough. No form, no intake questionnaire, no explaining yourself twice.

  2. 2

    It stays with you

The companion listens, reflects, and offers a practice or a prompt — in your language, at your pace.

  3. 3

    It hands you forward

If something needs clinical attention, you get an assessment, a journey, or a verified expert — not a dead end.

What it will never do

Being clear about the limits is part of the safety design.

  • It will not diagnose you or name a disorder.
  • It will not prescribe or advise on medication.
  • It will not replace therapy, psychiatry or emergency care.
  • It will not hide that it is an AI — every session says so.
  • It will not share your conversations with an employer, a therapist or anyone else without your consent.

AI companion — common questions

Is the AI companion a therapist?
No. It is a supportive, always-available companion for reflection, grounding and check-ins. It never diagnoses and never prescribes. When something needs clinical care, it points you to a verified human expert.
Which languages can I talk to it in?
English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati and Punjabi. You can switch language at any time and the companion follows.
Who can read my conversations?
You. Conversations are private to your account, are excluded from product analytics and session replay, and are never shared with an employer or shown on a dashboard.
What happens if I mention self-harm?
Risk-sensitive language triggers our crisis pathway: the companion surfaces immediate helplines for your region and a direct route to a human, rather than continuing a normal conversation.
Does it remember previous conversations?
Yes, with your consent. It keeps a private memory of what matters to you so you don't restart from zero each time, and you can review or clear it from your account.
Is it free?
Creating an account gives you companion access. See pricing for what's included on the free tier and what sits on a paid plan.
