Community Guidelines

Kind. Anonymous. Held with care.

Saantvana Circles only work because of the people inside them. Joining a Circle means agreeing to these few simple things.

1. Lead with care

People share Circles when they're at their most vulnerable. Listen before reacting. Reflect before advising. A "I hear you" goes further than a perfect solution.

2. No identifying information

No full names, phone numbers, addresses, employers, schools, or social handles — yours or anyone else's. Pseudonyms only. This is how anonymity stays real.

3. No diagnoses or medical advice

You are not your peer's doctor. Share experiences, never prescriptions. Don't tell someone to stop a medication, change a therapist, or skip professional care.

4. No promotion, no recruitment

No sales, no MLM, no religious or political recruiting, no off-platform invites. Healing is not a funnel.

5. No content that harms

No graphic self-harm details, no encouragement of suicide, eating disorders, or substance abuse, no harassment, slurs, hate speech, or sexual content. We remove these immediately.

6. Crisis comes first

If a member writes about imminent self-harm, our system surfaces helplines and pings a moderator. You are encouraged to gently respond and tag a moderator — but never feel responsible for being the only safety net.

7. Confidentiality is sacred

What's shared in a Circle stays in the Circle. Don't screenshot, repost, or quote elsewhere. Breach of confidentiality is grounds for immediate removal.

What happens if a rule is broken

First-time minor violations get a private nudge. Repeated or serious violations result in temporary suspension or a permanent ban. See the Moderation Policy for the full process and how to appeal.
