For Kerala employers
Employee wellness programmes built for Kerala workplaces
Kerala has India's densest network of trained mental-health professionals and one of its most stressed workforces — IT parks in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, hospitals, teaching institutions, and a large population working away from family. A wellness programme that ignores that context becomes a poster on a wall.
Saantvana gives your employees Malayalam-first support they will actually use: a private companion for the 11pm spiral, validated self-checks, and verified counsellors who can see them online or in their own district.
- Malayalam & English
- Verified counsellors
- Anonymised HR reporting
- No employee names shared
When a Kerala team needs more than a health camp
- Attrition clustered in one shift, project or department rather than spread evenly
- Sick leave rising without a matching rise in physical illness
- Night-shift and rotational staff reporting persistent sleep problems
- Employees relocated from other states with no local support network
- Managers handling distress disclosures with no protocol to follow
How the programme runs
- 1
Launch in a fortnight
We enable your organisation panel, load your employee domains or invite codes, and publish a short internal announcement pack in Malayalam and English.
- 2
Employees self-serve first
Anyone on the panel can talk to the companion, take a validated assessment, join a moderated circle, or book a verified counsellor — without asking HR for permission.
- 3
HR sees patterns, never people
Your dashboard reports uptake, themes and wellbeing trend lines only when a cohort is large enough to stay anonymous. Individual records are never visible to an employer.
Why Malayalam matters more than a licence count
The first session is where most people decide whether therapy is for them. If the employee has to translate 'വിഷമം' into a clinical English word before the counsellor understands, the session becomes a language exercise instead of care.
Every Saantvana expert profile lists the languages they actually practise in, so your employees filter by language before they filter by anything else. Support is also available in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and six more languages for teams that are not entirely Malayali.
What it costs and what you are buying
Employers fund a panel and, optionally, a session allowance per employee. Expert fees are published in rupees on each profile, so finance can model the ceiling before signing anything.
You are not buying counselling minutes alone — you are buying an always-open first step. Most people use the companion, an assessment and a wellness journey several times before they ever book a paid session, which is exactly the order that keeps a programme affordable.
For Kerala employers: common questions
- Can employers see who used the programme?
- No. Employers see aggregate uptake and theme-level trends, and only once a cohort is large enough that no individual can be identified. Names, transcripts, journal entries and assessment answers are never available to an employer.
- Do you offer sessions in Malayalam?
- Yes. You can filter the expert directory by Malayalam and by Kerala district, and the AI companion, assessments and journeys are available in Malayalam as well as nine other Indian languages.
- How quickly can we launch?
- A standard launch takes about two weeks: panel setup, employee onboarding method, an internal communications pack, and a manager briefing on how to refer without prying.
- What happens if an employee is in crisis?
- Crisis helplines including Tele-MANAS (14416) are one tap away on every screen, and the companion surfaces them the moment risk language appears. We tell the employee, not the employer.
